Public Education

One of the three main pillars of the fire service, besides Suppression and Fire Prevention, is Public Education. If the residents of Milton are taught sound, fire-safe behaviours, the need for the big red fire trucks will be minimized.

The Milton Fire Department prides itself in providing a first rate fire prevention program to the residents of Milton. From pre-school and younger children, through teenagers and young adults, to seniors, there are programs in place to provide all residents with excellent fire safety knowledge.
